Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Roof Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll diagnose roofing issues and perform high-quality repairs on both asphalt shingle and metal roofing systems. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, and is committed to ensuring every repair is completed safely and efficiently.
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, and communicates professionally with customers throughout each project. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Previous experience with residential and commercial roofing repairs is preferred, along with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and complete repair work on shingle and metal roofs (leaks, flashing, penetrations, storm damage, ridge caps).
Perform roof inspections, document findings with photos/notes, and provide clear repair recommendations.
Safely set up and use ladders, harnesses, and other fall-protection/PPE; follow OSHA and company safety practices.
Maintain clean, professional job sites and represent Timberman Roofing well with every customer interaction.
Coordinate with the office on scheduling, parts, and change orders; complete work orders accurately.
Assist with emergency dry-ins/tarps and occasional after-hours storm response.
Qualifications
Experience repairing shingle and metal roofs (required).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions; able to lift 50+ lbs.
Proficient with roofing hand/power tools and basic carpentry/flashings.
Strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Smartphone literacy for photos, texts, and job documentation.
Schedule
Daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime as needed for weather or emergency repairs.
